What is liturgy?

Liturgy is something that "the whole Christ", Head and Body, celebrates — Christ, the one High Priest, together with his Body, the Church in heaven and on earth. While Mass is what we usually think of when we hear the word “liturgy”, any public communal prayer of the Church is liturgical. We “do” liturgy together, with one another, and Christ present in and among us, as one body….
