Dear Community Family,
We did it! We conquered our 2nd Annual Community Food Drive! We couldn’t have done it without the dedicated volunteers throughout the community, Divine Savior Catholic Church, First Baptist Church of Orangevale, Fair Oaks Church, Redeemer Covenant Church, and Life Center Church. Countless community members came together to serve with compassion for those in need in our community. We also would like to give a special shoutout to Scout Troops 310, 311 and 1701, Trajan Elementary, and Casa Roble Football. There is hope...and the hope is you!
Last year, over 11,000 lbs of food was collected, which was amazing. This year we hit it out of the park! We collected 19,266 lbs of food, which will help feed 642 families for several months. We also received generous monetary donations totaling $4,749, which will feed another 155 families for a month. With your unwavering support, the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank has been able to provide nourishment to so many struggling to balance the impact of the pandemic. As many people in our community continue to struggle, the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank will continue to serve our community. We know we could not meet the demand without your support. Your food bank Team is humbled by and grateful for your commitment in fighting hunger. You are a Nourishing Hope!
When "neighbors help neighbors" we grow as a community. The Orangevale-Fair Oaks food bank is truly blessed to be a part of a community that joins in on our mission of providing Fresh food, Resources, and Hope. We are connected, united and STRONGER TOGETHER! We can’t wait to see what We do next year!
With Sincere Gratitude,
