Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) of Orangevale-Fair Oaks was formed in 2021 by a group of compassionate neighbors as a program of the non-profit Orangevale-Fair Oaks Community Foundation. Each HART group creates its own mission which is dedicated to the needs of the unhoused neighbors in their community. HART strives to organize the community toward making a positive impact in an individual's life and ultimately the neighborhoods and businesses which serve our community. The mission of HART of Orangevale-Fair Oaks is to assist our at-risk neighbors and those experiencing homelessness to move toward self-sufficiency and greater independence. This is carried out by a dedicated group of compassionate volunteers in collaboration with community members, faith-based organizations and local businesses. Plenty more info below!

Since its founding in October 2004, the Father Neil W. Seidl Council of the Knights of Columbus has diligently served the Divine Savior Parish community. Over the years, this service has taken a myriad of forms from assisting with decorating the church and helping with organizing the Parish’s annual Treasurefest to construction of a retaining wall around church property and purchase and installation of church signage. Today, the Father Neil W. Seidl Council continues to serve the community through support of pro-life activities and financial contributions to the Parish Building Fund, American Wheelchair Mission, Saint Vincent DePaul Society, Camp ReCreation, Youth Scholarships, and Special Olympics. The Father Neil W. Seidl Council also actively promotes community fellowship through Council-sponsored events such as the annual Knights Charity Through Golf Tournament, Oktoberfest Dinner, and E-Waste/Recycling Day. Laundry Love does laundry for people who are struggling financially. For those living in poverty, washing clothes presents both a logistical problem and a financial hardship. The guests, on average, will save over $20 per visit. Guests can apply their savings toward food, gas, medicines, and other essentials. They use the entire laundromat for the full three hour period. But, the operation is managed well, and everyone gets served, gets snacks, and becomes friends and neighbors.
