Kathy Bauer

I was born and raised in rural Nebraska.  I lived in Omaha for 5 years after graduating from college and then I moved to Sacramento. My sister and her family had moved here from Miami and she told me I  would fit in well here. So I decided to give CA a try and drove 3 days in my little car pulling a small U-haul trailer.  It has been a great adventure for 35 years.  I met my husband Ron after 5 years. God brought us together through a young adults group at St. Francis church in Sacramento. After we were married and living in Orangevale we found Divine Savior in 1995. We have 2 sons, Andrew and Joel, age 22 and almost 20.  Our 30th anniversary is coming up this year in August, 2024. We love camping and traveling. For the past several years I have been a part-time Patient Services Representative, and enjoy helping patients with their healthcare needs in the call center. Besides PPC, I am also serving on the Sacramento Cursillo Secretariat. Being part of Divine Savior parish is wonderful and enriching and it is great meeting new friends to share our faith with.
