Karen Papa

Our family has been a part of the Divine Savior family since its inception that first weekend in November 1987! It was so exciting to be involved in building a parish community from “the ground up”, and many of those early memories are still vivid for me today! 

Over those 37+ years, I have been privileged to be involved in and serve alongside of many fellow parishioners in various ministries at Divine Savior, from altar linens laundry, Liturgical Ministry, MTTH visitation, the Welcoming Committee, Manna Ministry, and our Community Meal! I was honored to be a part of the early planning committee that drew up our parish mission statement; was the coordinator of Renew and Ministry to the Homebound; and I served on the PPC previously from 2004-2007. 

I am immensely grateful for the personal spiritual growth and strong relationships within the Divine Savior community that my involvement has given me; and I look forward to continuing that growth as well as bringing the experience of my years at Divine Savior to another term with the PPC.
